Volunteer opportunities

Volunteer for World Concern

We have an immediate need for people to write and stuff “Thank You” cards to those who have given to Haiti relief. This task is crucial as it provides an on going relationship with donors which helps create on going support for Haiti.

We appreciate your consideration and compassion. We hope that you will join us in helping a hurting Haiti.

We need your help

Volunteers

At this time we are not sending any volunteers to Haiti, and for the time being the most effective way to help is through cash donations.

Internships

Information Technology: Creating an Interactive Data Base on Sharepoint and Training in its Use.

To assist in grant tracking and the development of funding proposals in our field offices, World Concern has created a grant review and tracking system. Presently the data base for the system is being maintained on an Excel spreadsheet, limiting our ability to use the system interactively. We wish to have the system based in a Sharepoint data base. Successfully completing the project will involve the intern in many of the issues related to information technology in a medium-sized non-profit agency with activities internationally as well as in the US, the design of interactive software training programs, data base design and the importance of maintaining focus on the end user.

To apply for an internship, submit a letter of intent and resume to Tara Garcia at volunteer@worldconcern.org.
