The Clean Water Crisis
Deep in rural Kenya and South Sudan, severe drought is creating a clean water crisis. A lack of fresh rainwater means crops are unable to grow, resulting in a lack of food in many villages.
Oftentimes the only sources of water available for drinking and bathing are small, stagnant pools shared with livestock.
Children fall ill with waterborne diseases from drinking the dirty, bacteria-filled water. Instead of going to school, they spend many days at home, sick to their stomach. The rest of their precious time is lost walking, with their mothers, many miles to the nearest water source.
Clean water is critical for the survival of these families.
You are needed to come alongside communities and provide clean water to the families who need it most. With your support, communities will receive clean water in the form of water filters, wells, or rainwater catchment systems.
Please give now to send clean water and transform a community.
