Malual LukLuk

South Sudan

This is Malual LukLuk

Located in the northwestern region of South Sudan and consisting of approximately 260 households, the village of Malual LukLuk sits ready for transformation.

Free from local conflict with neighboring villages, those residing in Malual LukLuk make their living through farming and cattle keeping, with a few members of the village keeping bees. Despite a peaceful existence, the community members in Malual LukLuk still face many hurdles in their day-to-day lives.

Unfortunately, there is no market center available in Malual LukLuk for the community members to buy and sell goods. While education and health services can be found, they are located outside the village and difficult to access, especially during the rainy season when roads become impassable.

The people of Malual LukLuk are open to hearing the gospel, but there is no church in the village.

Perhaps most daunting, access to clean water in Malual LukLuk is extremely limited. Wells are shallow, hand-dug, overused, and not sufficient. On top of that, they are easily contaminated since they are open, uncovered, and unprotected.

The families of Malual LukLuk Village are ready for change. With your support, they will experience lasting transformation and a bright future for themselves and the next generation.
