There are no health facilities, so when they are sick they must travel great distances to get treatment–and during the rainy season, some roads within the village are completely impassable.
There is a significant lack of qualified educators, so many villagers are unable to read or write as a result—kids here also need a formal classroom. Without somewhere to study, many children fall behind.
